Leading UK connected home firm, Smarter, took out The Europas ‘Hottest Internet of Things Startup’ annual award ceremony last Tuesday evening at London’s The Brewery.
The London-based company was recognised for its continued pioneering innovation in consumer smart kitchen technology.
Over the last 12 months Smarter has launched acclaimed IoT kitchen products, the iKettle – 3rd Generation and Smarter Coffee – 2nd Generation both locally in the UK and abroad.
The launch of Smarter’s two unique smart kitchen appliances included successfully cracking into the North American market for the first time.

The Europas awards ceremony saw some of Europe’s most prestigious technology companies represented in several categories including Deliveroo (Hottest E-commerce/Retail Startup), Monzo (Hottest FinTech Startup), Seenit (Hottest Marketing/AdTech Startup), OLIO (Hottest Tech For Good) and WeTransfer (Hottest Technology Innovation).
Smarter’s Europas honour comes at an important juncture for the company with the impending release of the highly-anticipated FridgeCam. The FridgeCam is Smarter’s next ‘worlds-first’ smart product, which is highly anticipated to revolutionise the everyday kitchen. The product is due to be released this month.
