Smarter is thrilled to announce that it is up for a 2018 Europas Startup Award.
The London-based tech firm was listed as a category finalist for ‘Hottest Internet of Things Startup.’
Since 2009, The Europas are an industry premier awards showcase for Europe’s hottest tech startups, recognising both the newest companies on the scene as well as some of the biggest technology businesses in the game.
According to this year’s Europas judging panel, Smarter was one of six carefully selected from thousands of nominees to be shortlisted for the Hottest IoT Startup award.
Connected home specialist and innovation smart kitchen creator, Smarter, will be up against smart thermostat company Hub Controller, IoT platforms Pycom and Kontakt, health tech business Withings and touch authentication company Puick.
Smarter’s pioneering work over the past 5 years have created both a leading IoT integrated software service that can link too other third party smart devices such as Amazon, Google, Nest, etc. as well as producing accompanying smart kitchen appliances which retail to consumers all over the world.
Other contenders up for awards on the night include Deliveroo (Hottest E-commerce/Retail Startup), Monzo (Hottest FinTech Startup), Seenit (Hottest Marketing/AdTech Startup), OLIO (Hottest Tech For Good) and WeTransfer (Hottest Technology Innovation)
The award announcement comes at a busy time for Smarter, as the company prepares to launch the next ground-breaking smart product, the FridgeCam which is highly anticipated to revolutionise the everyday kitchen. The product is due to be released next month.
This year’s annual gala awards ceremony will be on 3 July, at The Brewery in London.
