Press Release: Las Vegas, Nevada
British-based company Smarter will kick-off a return to Las Vegas for CES 2017 this week.
The trip to North America for the ‘world’s biggest tech show’ will mark a key milestone for the inventive company responsible for creating the first ever Wi-Fi kettle.
Smarter is set to reveal a new generation of definitive products for the first time during the Las Vegas showcase.
The Smarter FridgeCam will headline the new product introduction at CES 2017 Unveiled today at booth #24, with event-goers getting their first taste of what the future of the connected kitchen will look like.
The small wireless fridge camera is set to deliver big things in 2017, already receiving plenty of endorsement from its current UK and Europe base with substantial pre-order interest taken for the latest kitchen innovation.
Smarter’s CEO Christian Lane said ahead of CES;
“We are very excited to showcase our FridgeCam with its full range of functions for the first time anywhere in the world.”
“We created the FridgeCam to not only save people money, time and energy but also tackle food waste head-on in the process.
“In the USA average households can waste anywhere between $1365 – $2275 of food every year.
“FridgeCam invites users to become more knowledgeable in the kitchen, allowing access to the contents of your fridge from wherever you are via the app.
“Being notified of expiring food, replenishment services and recipe suggestions based on what you have in the fridge are all ground-breaking features that will change your lifestyle.”
That’s not all the London-based company will reveal during CES 2017, with expansion plans in place to delve into the US market as earlier this year.
This will see the new product range (which includes the Smarter FridgeCam) of the Smarter iKettle (3rd Gen ), Smarter Coffee (2nd Gen) both allowing open third-party integration capabilities available to North America for the first time.
