A joint venture to create new products and ‘Shape Living for the Better’ at IFA 2019
We are pleased to announce our partnership with AEG/Electrolux for the new FridgeCam™ PLUS ‘Powered by Smarter™’. We continue to innovate and expand our partnerships with the groundbreaking FridgeCamTM; the simple plug and play setup and artificial intelligence using SmarterAssist™ give a personalised view inside any fridge for a fraction of the cost of an in-built device. The all-new app provides an inventory of fridge contents, best before tracker, shopping lists and automated link to online shopping such as Tesco and Amazon Fresh.

The world’s first FridgeCam™ was launched by Smarter in 2018 and brings lifestyle, health and sustainability choices from the information provided on products and their freshness, enabling real savings and reduction in food waste. Now with FridgeCam PLUS and Electrolux, users will have the benefit of a smaller, more accessible device that will be available in thousands of appliances across Europe.
Smarter Assist X Amazon Fresh
The Smarter FridgeCam has had a new software update and is now integrated with Amazon Fresh. With the recent development of SmarterAssist™, this little piece of kit is now fitted with some clever and sophisticated artificial intelligence/machine learning-based algorithms which recognise items in the fridge; product types are learnt once and recognised and tracked forever. The product is fully integrated into the connected home, just ask Alexa or Siri “what’s in your fridge?” and see where it takes you.
iKettle™ EDITION
The original Smarter product, the iKettle, is now available in new colours – Bringing new accent finishes to add to the aesthetics of your kitchen with four elegant colour ranges: Gloss White & Gold, Gloss White, Chrome, Black and Copper and Chrome
The iKettle combines innovative smart technology with a sleek, stylish design, a new ergonomic handle and a new range of colours and finishes. Through the updated Smarter app you can have easy to use smart features, such as temperature control, water level sensor, wake up mode, to have a boiled kettle waiting for you and Home Mode to remote boil from anywhere.
